2007 To Do List
Posted by Nit under Rambles
I have decided on a To Do List for 2007:
1. Complete my Master’s dissertation.
- I am still in a holiday mood. I expect to be in full swing when term starts next week on Monday, 8 January.
2. Look for a new job?
- I am currently contemplating whether I should quit my job and concentrate on my studies this year. It is not easy to juggle work, school and family at the same time. Lack of focus in any one area can be quite detrimental.
3. Spend more time with my family.
- My schedule is so tight that when term starts, I tend to spend less time with my family. I must make sure that Sundays are strictly for family only.
4. Travel to New Zealand.
- This is also a “must do” for this year. I have started saving money for this trip since August 2006.
5. Clear out the junk.
- This is an ongoing task. Whenever I see something that I have not used for ages, I would either throw the item or put it in the recycling bin.
Well, my To Do List is actually more than what I have stated above but these are at the top of my mind right now. I have stopped making New Year resolutions such as “I should exercise more to keep fit” or “I must lose weight”. I know they are not going to happen.

That’s a pretty full list, though I know you can handle it all. Plus just think. In a year or so you will have your Master’s and you won’t have to juggle as much (hopefully)
Happy New Years

I am lucky to have my family’s support while doing my Master’s degree. It is tough but they keep me going for the past few months. However, things are not going so well with my job. My bosses do not seem to like the idea of me leaving earlier on certain days to attend classes. I am not going to give up my studies because I really enjoy it. Well, guess I have to decide for myself in the next few days.

Are they paying for your education? I know over here most companies will pay for your education, as long as you pass. That means they should want you to attend classes and pass. Stupid bosses
